Prateek Apparels launches F Square, shuts Kanz
Posted On: 04-01-2010 00:00:00 10

Bangalore-based Prateek Apparels has launched F- Square, a value retail format. The company had earlier launched another value retail format under the brand Coupon. While Coupon features well known brands, F Square will only sell the company's private labels and will be positioned as a local neighborhood family store. Also, unlike Coupon, which is a big box retail format going up to 70,000 sq ft, F Square will be a smaller format ranging between 800-1,000 sq ft. The company is reported to have opened 50 new value retail outlets under the brand across Karnataka. In a parallel move, the company has decided to close the international kid's wear brand outlets under the name Kanz. The company had tied up with German brand Kanz in 2007 and it operates 18 outlets across India.
