US-based franchise consultant Francorp International has said it will introduce 10 global brands to India. The company, which has a 40 % share in the US franchise consultancy market, last year, has formed a strategic partnership and licensing arrangement with Franchise India Holdings (FIHL) under the name of Francorp India. They operate largely in the education, retail and food and beverages segment. The company currently has one office in Delhi but plans to set up offices in all the metros soon. Francorp, which operates in 45 countries across the world, has a global client base which includes companies like American Express, Du Pont, Kodak, Hall Mark cards, Shell Oil and KFC among others. At some point they also hope to represent Indian firms who wish to venture abroad.
